About the Library Board
The Eau Claire District Library Board is composed of six members representing the participating municipalities to include Berrien Township, Pipestone Township and Village of Eau Claire. Two representatives from each area are appointed for a term of four years.
The ECDL Board meets monthly on the second Monday at 1 pm (see the 2025 meeting schedule). Duties include establishing and maintaining the public library, establishing library policies, hiring the Library Director, adopting an annual library budget and approving expenditure of funds.
